About
VisaFreeMap is an independent reference for passport visa requirements worldwide, compiled from official government sources. It is not an official source and is not affiliated with any government or passport-ranking company.
What it covers
Requirements are for ordinary passports travelling for tourism. Business, official and diplomatic passports, and other purposes, can differ. Stay lengths are the maximum for the stated rule and can carry conditions (onward tickets, funds, passport validity) that are not shown here.
Many rules are derived from bloc-level or aggregate policy rather than checked against a specific source for every country pair. Treat each rule as a starting point and confirm the details with the official immigration authority of your destination before you travel.
How the ranking works
A passport's score is the number of destinations its holders can enter without arranging a visa in advance: visa-free, visa on arrival, or with an electronic travel authorisation (eTA). e-visas and visas-in-advance are excluded. Passports are ranked by that score and share a rank on a tie.
