Visa requirements for Palestine
Who can enter Palestine, by nationality. Tourism. Data as of October 19, 2026.
Entry to the State of Palestine is controlled by Israel
The Palestinian Authority does not operate its own international border crossings. Visitors reach the West Bank through Israel: Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv, or the Allenby Bridge (King Hussein Bridge) crossing from Jordan. Israeli entry rules therefore decide who can visit, and the requirements below are Israelโs.
The Gaza Strip is entered separately, through the Rafah crossing with Egypt or the Erez crossing with Israel, and access there is tightly restricted and frequently closed. Anyone planning to visit Gaza should check with the Egyptian and Israeli authorities directly.
The table below is Israelโs entry policy by nationality. See the Israel page.
145 nationalities can reach Palestine without a visa in advance, under the entry rules of Israel. 0 have full visa-free access; 145 more can get a visa on arrival or use an electronic travel authorisation. Everyone else needs a visa, or an e-visa where one is offered, before travelling.
